How did you first get introduced to the outdoor lifestyle?

I was practically born outdoors. I started camping and hiking with my family at the prime age of 3.

Favorite place to visit?

My favorite outdoor place would have to be anywhere in the cascade mountains of Washington. I just can’t decide!

What is your most memorable outdoor story?

The first time I went fishing at 10 years old. I had never caught on to something, or fallen in love with something so quickly. I caught 7 trout within an hour.

Besides going on adventures and being outside, what are you passionate about?

I absolutely love being in the medical field. I aspire to be a paramedic/firefighter. I am currently a medical assistant for an orthopedic surgeon.

If you had one tip for beginners getting into outdoor recreation, what would it be?

Learn to get comfortable with being uncomfortable. The elements will not always be on your side, so be prepared for anything.

Final thoughts...

I got married to my husband in May during the shutdown on the top of one of our favorite hikes.
